Final Market Day 4-22-17

It has been another  banner year at the Winter Farmers' Market! We've been excited to see larger and larger attendance each week as people discover the wonderful array of fresh and local goods offered, as well as the convenience and beauty of our location. Our vendors represent the small farms and food artisans of New Hampshire who are proud to provide sustainably-raised, high-quality, and healthful products. As we end the winter market season, we thank you for your support, and invite you to continue buying local at the summer market on Capitol Street in Concord.

10th Market Day 1-14-17

You asked for a turbo-powered blender for Christmas and it's still in the box. The perfect tool to keep your New Year resolution of healthier eating on track, it's a little intimidating because you're not sure what to put in it. Fear not! Just bring your shopping bag to the Winter Farmers' Market and load it up with a variety of fresh greens, vegetables, fruit, and honey. Experiment with different flavor profiles - try something sweeter for breakfast and more savory for lunch.

9th Market 1-7-17

Congratulations, you survived the holidays! Start 2016 off right with a trip to the Winter Farmers' Market and replenish your pantry with healthy, locally-produced meat, vegetables and fruit, dairy, and baked goods. After working so hard to make the holidays memorable for others, treat yourself to the best that New Hampshire farmers and artisans have to offer!

7th Market 12/17/16

It's that time of year... you've been invited to a holiday party and need a hostess gift. Why not plan ahead and create a memorable gift basket (or two!) filled with locally-made goodies? Chocolate, nuts, fruit, gourmet coffee, cheeses, and even hand lotions are but a sampling of the delicious and unique options at this week's market.

5th 12/3/16

This week, why not pick up some cheese, coffee, chocolate and pastries?  Having a few simple items on hand when guests drop by for a cup of holiday cheer will keep you sane.  And you'll impress your guests with the delicious, high-qulity food prepared by New Hampshire artisans.

4th Market 11/26/16

Lets finish the month of November thinking ahead to December.  Turnips, beets, and parsnips are some of the "official" vegetables of the month of December. And lucky for you, the Winter Farmers' Market is a great place to buy them. These veggies are perfect for stews, soups, and the New England boiled dinner, and are just some of the produce available at the market. Top it off with some treats from our bakers and you have the perfect New Hampshire meal!

3rd Market 11/19/16

Thanksgiving is this coming  week -- do you have all your vegetables, rolls, desserts? The market is packed with great choices for holiday meals, including the fixings for stuffing to homemade apple pie.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Summer is coming,  April is the perfect time to really start feeling healthy. Ask ten people what healthy eating means to them, and you'll likely get ten different answers. The Winter Market is the perfect place to begin healthful habits. Farmers' markets are an excellent way to get on the path to healthier eating, by offering a variety of vegetables and fruits, pasture-raised meat, and minimally-processed meals.  April showers give you the time in the kitchen to improve healthful habits!

Spring into the Market

If you've been coming to the market all winter, you know that this is one of the best places to get fresh, local produce, meats and seafood, and dairy products. Did you also know that there are wonderful treats for our four-legged friends, artisanal coffees and nuts, sauces, honey, and even goat-milk soaps and lotions? There truly is something for everyone at the Concord Winter Farmers' Market - your full shopping bag is a great way to support our local farmers and artisans!
