Porkside Farm

Our family has been farming in Henniker since 1799. We breed our own pigs and do our own processing and smoking. Our pigs never get antibiotics and our products do not contain preservatives or fillers.

Happy New Year!

Congratulations, you survived the holidays! Start 2014 off right with a trip to the Winter Farmers' Market and replenish your pantry with healthy, locally-produced meat, vegetables and fruit, dairy, and baked goods. After working so hard to make the holidays memorable for others, treat yourself to the best that New Hampshire farmers and artisans have to offer!

Impress Your Guests

This week, why not pick up some cheese, chutney, nuts, and pastries? Having a few simple items on hand when guests drop by for a cup of holiday cheer will keep you sane. And you'll impress your guests with the delicious, high-quality food prepared by New Hampshire artisans.

Be Ready for the Holidays

It's that time of year... you've been invited to a holiday party and need a hostess gift. Why not plan ahead and create a memorable gift basket (or two!) filled with locally-made goodies? Chocolate, nuts, fruit, gourmet coffee, cheeses, and even hand lotions are but a sampling of the delicious and unique options at this week's market.

Thanksgiving and Hanukah Are Coming!

Thanksgiving and Hanukah are this week -- do you have all your vegetables, rolls, desserts, and wine? The market is packed with great choices for holiday meals, including the fixings for everything from homemade latkes to apple pie.

The Two-fer

Brrrr! It's getting cold out there: it's perfect weather to make your favorite stews, soups, and sweet and savory pies. Our farmers have everything you need to create a memorable meal, and you'll feel great knowing you supported local agriculture. That's what we call a two-fer!

Getting to Know You

Did you visit us on opening day last week? Now that you've seen what the market has to offer, come spend the day with us and get to know the farmers, bakers, and artisans who hand-craft specialty foods right here in New Hampshire. Make your shopping list and stock your pantry with amazing New Hampshire-grown food!

1st Market of the Season (Nov. 2nd)

We're looking forward to welcoming back our regular customers to the start of another Farmers' Market Season!  We will have 26 vendors on hand for our first market.  Of course there will be many familiar vendors from past years, but also some new vendors that will keep you wanting more!
