Resolve to Eat Healthy in 2015

Ask ten people what healthy eating means to them, and you'll likely get ten different answers. But they may agree on a few simple things, such as avoiding fat, sugar, and processed foods. Farmers' markets are an excellent way to get on the path to healthier eating, by offering a variety of vegetables and fruits, pasture-raised meat, and minimally-processed meals. And by buying local, you know that the food you're eating comes from trusted sources a short drive away. Visit us from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cole Gardens in Concord and get on track in 2014.

Merry Christmas from the Market!

From our vendors and the staff at Cole Gardens, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas! The market is indeed open today, so come out and stock up on fresh produce, baked goods, meats, cheese, and even frozen items to keep on hand during the busy holiday week. There's no market next week, so we'll see you in January!

Turnips, Beets, and Parsnips

Turnips, beets, and parsnips are some of the "official" vegetables of the month of December. And lucky for you, the Winter Farmers' Market is a great place to buy them. These veggies are perfect for stews, soups, and the New England boiled dinner, and are just some of the produce available at the market. Top it off with some treats from our bakers and you have the perfect New Hampshire meal!

One stop for Thanksgiving fixings

Thanksgiving is this coming  week -- do you have all your vegetables, rolls, desserts, and wine? The market is packed with great choices for holiday meals, including the fixings for stuffing to homemade apple pie.

Second Market, let's keep the ball rolling and join us again.

Did you visit us on opening day last week? Now that you've seen what the market has to offer, come spend the day with us and get to know the farmers, bakers, and artisans who hand-craft specialty foods right here in New Hampshire. Make your shopping list and stock your pantry with amazing New Hampshire-grown food!

Our Final Market Day of the Season

It's been a banner season at the Concord Winter Farmers' Market! We've been excited to see larger and larger attendance each week as people discover the wonderful array of fresh and local goods offered, as well as the convenience and beauty of our location. Our vendors represent the small farms and food artisans of New Hampshire who are proud to provide sustainably-raised, high-quality, and healthful products. As we end the winter market season, we thank you for your support, and invite you to continue buying local at the summer market on Capitol Street in Concord.

April 5th

If you've been coming to the market all winter, you know that this is one of the best places to get fresh, local produce, meats and seafood, and dairy products. Did you also know that there are wonderful treats for our four-legged friends, artisanal coffees and nuts, sauces, honey, and even goat-milk soaps and lotions? There truly is something for everyone at the Concord Winter Farmers' Market - your full shopping bag is a great way to support our local farmers and artisans!
